Savannah + Kelly

Meadow Brook Hall, Mi

To describe this incredible overcast and slightly rainy day in words for Savannah and Kelly would be a little hard to do so I’ll let the photos do the talking with a few details from me :)

Kelly and Savannah are two adventurous and incredibly sweet ladies, who love so much. The detail of the wedding day and their care for their family and friends warms my heart, still.

Getting ready started at Embassy Suites, the first look was outside of the gardens where Momma DeMil set up our brides while the wedding party made a human wall so Kelly and Savannah wouldn’t see each other.

The ladies incorporated their sweet pup Ginger to the family photos, a few portraits in Meadowbrook Hall along with the ceremony as we were rained out of the garden area. Once the rain let up later in the day, we went back out to the gardens and around Meadowbrook to capture the love and beauty.

Dances with both sets of parents and lots of love and laugher on the dance floor, we couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Reminder, we will always make magic even on the rainy days <3

Farah + Robbie

Meadowbrook Hall, Mi

I don’t even know where to begin with these two sweethearts, we had such a high energy day full of love. First was the greeting at Farah’s residence. Imagine your chest feeling not only your beautiful beating heart but feeling the full boom of the bendir drums, bagpipes and chants of this Zaffa! If you’ve never experienced a Zaffa, look up the music and really feel these images. These moments make my heart soar. The beautiful family connections and the dancing took my breath away.

Once to Meadowbrook Hall cocktail hour was in session and we spent some time with portraits before the grand entrance. High energy dancing swept us in to speeches and then a tornado warning almost had us evacuate to the basement of Meadowbrook Hall. Thankfully the warning only lasted 15 minutes and we were able to use blue hour to create in for the last light of the day before dinner. Dancing continued, so many laughs and hugs and great food was had. It was seriously one of the best celebrations of the year!
